The following is a transcript for the episode "Pillow War".
Script
(Poppy is touching a pillow on a tree.)
Poppy: Oh, yeah. These pillows are ripe. Let the Pillow Harvest Festival begin! (The Trolls cheer.) We’ve got pillow rides… (We show three Troll children riding on a pillow pulled by a Puffalo. The camera shifts to Archer carving a pillow.) … pillow carvings… (The camera moves over to Cooper making hot pillow cider for a purple female Troll.) … and hot pillow cider. (Cooper tastes the cider and coughs feathers.) And of course, our main attraction, pillow picking! (She cuts a white ribbon and the Trolls cheer as they go inside the festival.)
Keith: I can’t wait to pick a pillow, Queen Poppy. The one my parents got me last year just went bad. (He shows his pillow with a fly hovering over it. Then it crumbles when the wind blows.)
Poppy: And that’s how it goes, but at every new harvest, there’s one special pillow for each Troll that’ll give them a full year of perfect sleep.
Keith: But how will I know which new pillow to pick?
Poppy: (As she kneels down) Ah, the pillow picks you. See? (DJ Suki looks at a tree of pillows.)
Pillow #1: Suki… Suki… I’m yours.
DJ Suki: Tight. (She jumps up and grabs the pillow. Then she lands and goes to sleep.)
Poppy: So just keep your eyes peeled, and eventually it’ll… (gasps) … call to you.
Pillow #2: Poppy… I’m yours. (Poppy gasps along with Branch.) Branch… I’m yours.
Branch: Plush yet supple. The perfect mix…
Poppy: Of firm and soft. It’s…
Both: The pillow I was destined to have. Ah… (They jump and grab the pillow. They fall asleep for a second, but open one eye.)
Poppy: Oh. Heh. Hi, Branch. (She gets up.) It seems your hands are on my pillow.
Branch: Actually, Poppy, your hand’s on my pillow. (He gets up.) He’s already got a name.
Both: Lord Bedfellow. Hm? (The Trolls gasp and murmur.)
Guy Diamond: One pillow chose two Trolls? Has this ever happened before?
Peppy: Once… (The Trolls gasp as he walks past a red male and purple female Glitter Troll.) … many years ago, and greed for the pillow gradually drove one of the Trolls to madness.
Poppy: Hold on. Who was this exactly?
Peppy: Eh… (We go to the past to where a purple male Glitter Troll is carrying a pillow. Just then, Peppy grabs it and hisses like a cat.)
Past Peppy: Sir Snooze-a-Lot is mine! (He laughs and runs away.)
Glitter Troll #1: Oh… (Peppy comes back and hits him with the pillow. We then go back to the present.)
Peppy: Who is unimportant. The point is, you must destroy that pillow before you destroy each other. (Poppy and Branch laugh.)
Branch: Look out, Poppy. I’m gonna destroy you.
Poppy: No, I’ll destroy you.
Peppy: Hm.
Poppy: Dad, come on. We can resolve who gets the pillow in a fair way.
Branch: Yeah. We just need to decide how. Uh… hair, paper scissors or maybe a-
Keith: (Appearing in Branch’s hair) PILLOW FIGHT! PILLOW FIGHT!
Poppy: That could be fun.
Branch: Sounds good to me.
Poppy: Pillows at high noon. Last Troll standing gets the prize, which until then, will be held by an impartial third party. (Two green flying bugs take the pillow away.) See, Dad? A friendly solution without anyone going insane.
Keith: NOW PILLOW EACH OTHER… TO THE DEATH!
Poppy: (Covering Keith’s mouth) Oh. (She laughs as she and Branch walk away.)
Peppy: And so it begins. (The Trolls walk away. Meanwhile, Poppy is near her pod and Branch is behind her.)
Branch: Hm. (He jumps and yells throwing three pillows at Poppy.)
Poppy: (Dodging the pillows) Ah! Ooh! Yah! (She catches a pillow.) A sneak attack?! Oh, I am gonna wreck your whole world, son!
Branch: Not if I wreck yours first! (He and Poppy yell as they get ready to fight, but Gia Grooves interrupts them.)
Gia: Hey! You’re gonna wake the baby. (She shows a yellow baby sleeping in her hair.)
Baby: Shh.
Poppy: Oh. Sorry, Gia.
Branch: We’ll-we’ll keep it down. (He and Poppy fight softly.) Yeah, gotcha. Yeah. (He hits Poppy hard and she falls. Branch jumps after her. They continue to fight on a red and orange pod. Inside, A yellow male Troll, a purple female Troll, and a blue Troll child is celebrating Priscilla’s birthday.)

Happy birthday, dear Priscilla (Just then, Poppy and Branch fall in the pod.)
Poppy: Ah! (She and Branch see the Trolls covered in cake.)
Poppy and Branch: Uh…
(Poppy and Branch)
Happy birthday to you (Poppy hits Branch again.)
Poppy: Gah! (She and Branch continue to fight while falling. Soon, they bounce off a blue mushroom and land on the ground. Poppy gasps as Branch picks up her pillow.)
Branch: Hm.
Poppy: You know, the nice thing would be to let me have my pillow back. (Lord Bedfellow
Lord Bedfellow: Don’t let her take me, Branch. I’m yours.
Branch: Sorry, Poppy. I mean this in the friendliest way possible. (He charges at Poppy.) AAAAAAHHHH!!! (Poppy whistles and another pillow appears along with Smidge and Guy Diamond.)
Guy Diamond: What a twist.
Branch: Three on one? That’s not very friendly. (He whistles and Cooper and DJ Suki appear.) You guys know what to do. In 3, 2… (DJ Suki and Cooper snap their fingers. Branch does a facepalm.) No! Not a song and dance number!
Poppy: (As she, Guy Diamond, and Smidge start snapping their fingers) Ha! Looks like you forgot you were fighting with Trolls! (As the Troll fight while dancing, they sing Pillow Fight.)

Ah, fight! (The Trolls begin to fight.)
Branch: (laughs) OK, now we’re getting somewhere. (He charges at Poppy.)
Poppy: Oh, yeah. Let’s finally finish this. (She charges at Branch.)
Peppy: (Holding out his hand) See? The desire for that pillow is consuming your very souls!
Branch: What?! (He puts his arm around Poppy and laughs.) Consuming our souls?
Poppy: Dad, this fight has been the definition of civility. (She laughs and growls with Branch as they squeeze each other.)
Peppy: Well, if this is so civil, then you’ll have to quit, because it’s time for Mags Gumdrop’s improv show.
Smidge: Oh, my Guh. We can’t miss that. Mags makes up skits based on audience suggestions. It’s like magic. (DJ Suki gasps while Cooper and Guy Diamond chatter.)
Branch: Huh. I did RSVP. It’d be rude not to go.
Poppy: (Gritting her teeth) Lord Bedfellow is just a pillow. Got to keep it in perspective. Pick this up tomorrow, buddy?
Branch: How’s Misty Meadows at dawn, pal? (He and Poppy growl again.)
Guy Diamond: Actually, Poppy, you and I are having waffles at dawn.
Branch: Fine. 10 o’clock? (He and Poppy growl once more.)
Guy Diamond: Ooh… heavy breakfast? I’d want some time to digest.
DJ Suki: Yeah, good point.
Cooper: Mm-hm.
Poppy: Let’s say 10:30-ish.
Branch: Fine, but no using this truce to try anything sneaky.
Poppy: Fine. (She and Branch growl and walk backwards while snapping their fingers with DJ Suki, Smidge, Guy Diamond, and Cooper.)
Peppy: And so… it reaches its midpoint. (The camera shows the words “Misty Meadows” in a light blue background with pillows. The next morning, Branch, DJ Suki, and Cooper arrive at Misty Meadows.)
Branch: (sniffs) Ah. I love the smell of pillows in the morning. Smells like… (The mist clears and an army of Trolls appear.) … victory. You might as well give up now, Poppy, because there’s no- (He gasps as he sees a palace made of pillows.)
Poppy: Hey, you gathered an army! That’s sneaky!
Branch: Well, you build a castle! Even sneakier! (He and Poppy hiss at each other.)
Poppy: Sorry. Don’t know what that was.
Branch: Yeah. (chuckles) Weird.
Poppy: Branch, this is crazy. No pillow can be worth all of this. Let’s just agree- (Lord Bedfellow reappears.)
Lord Bedfellow: Poppy. Finish him, Poppy. Finish him.
Poppy: FOR LORD BEDFELLOW! (Some Trolls appear on the palace and cheer.)
Branch: Prepare for battle! (The palace door opens and Smidge uses her hair as a horn. Poppy and her army march out of the palace.) I won’t lie to you, men. Fight, and you may get hit by pillows. Run, and you won’t. But many years from now, you’ll wish you could trade all the days, from this day to that one, for one chance… once chance to show them that they may hit us with pillows, but they’re going to get hit by pillows, too! (His army cheers.)
Poppy: CHAAAARGE!!!
Branch: CHAAAARGE!!! (All the Trolls begin to fight. Some of them get hit and Poppy dodges some attacks. She runs past Satin and Chenille hitting each other.)
Satin: Wait. Aren’t we on the same team?
Chenille: Oh, that’s right. (Guy Diamond appears fighting Archer. Smidge hits a purple female and purple female Glitter Troll. A butterfly then appears.) Oh, my Guh. The beauty of nature illuminates the savagery of war. (A Troll hits her in the face.) OH, MY GUH! (She spins her pillows and attacks more Trolls.)
Poppy: NOW! (Six Troll use their pillows as arrows and shoot them off their bows. Branch’s army uses shields and Branch avoids the arrows.) Lord Bedfellow will be mine, Branch! It’s over!
Branch: Wrong, Poppy. It’s just begun. (He forms his hair into a horn and blows it. King Gristle Jr. appears.)
Poppy: (gasps) Oh, no. (King Gristle Jr. hits her and three Trolls, sending them flying along with many more. DJ Suki finds a chest and opens it.)
DJ Suki: Whoa. (King Gristle Jr. continues to hit the Trolls. He dodges the pillow bows and roars.)
Branch: No, Gristle, ease up! (King Gristle Jr. does not listen. He hits very hard and the Trolls are sent flying. Their screaming in slow-motion can be heard. He then giggles. Soon, the Trolls are morning the loss of their pillows.)
Troll #1: Why?! Why?! (A red male Troll cries over his destroyed pillow. Dr. Moonbloom is trying to save a pillow.)
Dr. Moonbloom: Stay with me.
Guy Diamond: No. No! NOOOOOOOO!!! (He begins to cry.)
Branch: What hath we wrought?
Poppy: Dad was right. We have to destroy Lord Bedfellow… together. (Lord Bedfellow reappears. Then Poppy and Branch rip the pillow in half. After that, they hold their hands up as the Trolls cheer for them. Aspen Heitz gives Cooper a high-five. Guy Diamond hits Archer with another pillow.)
Peppy: And so it ends. (The screen fades to black.)
DJ Suki: Everyone, you got to check this out.
Peppy: Wait. No, check that.
DJ Suki: I found something kind of strange. (Poppy walks over to the chest.)
Poppy: It’s a wooden chest filled with Troll wigs and clothes and masks of us… and look, some sort of journal detailing our habits and routines.
Guy Diamond: I don’t get it. Why would anyone hide all these weird items our here in the middle of nowhere?
Branch: I’ll tell you why. Because’ someone’s pretending to be a Troll to spy on us. There’s an imposter in our midst. (The Trolls gasp.)
Peppy: And so it’s to be continued! (He falls over.) Ah!
