The following is a transcript for the episode "Creek Week".

Script

(It is Creek Week in Troll Village. Poppy is meeting the Trolls participating in a yoga class.)

Poppy: OK, Trolls. Who’s excited to kick off Creek Week?! A full week of exercising our minds and bodies.

All: Om.

Poppy: Now, I know Creek would usually lead Creek Week, but he can’t be here for obvious reasons.

Branch: He betrayed us! (The camera shows him holding a sign with Creek in a crossed circle.) We were all thinking it. (The Trolls start chatting.)

Poppy: (Taking Branch’s sign away) True, Creek did betray us, but, hey, we have a great substitute instructor to replace him. Woo-hoo! (Cooper appears in the bushes.)

Cooper: Everyone join me in a Downward Cooper. (The Trolls pose with him.) Then crane your neck to the right. (The Trolls groan.) Drop it below your belly. (The Trolls yell in pain.) And zigzag it all the way to where you started. (The Trolls scream in pain.) Now relax in the pose. (The Trolls are now in different poses and feeling very uncomfortable.)

Branch: If you ask me, we should cancel Creek Week altogether. Or, at the very least, rename it.

Poppy: To what?

Branch: Um... How about Troll Who Sold Us Out by Trying to Feed Us to Bergens Just to Save His Own Skin Week?

Poppy: Can you get it to rhyme? (Branch sighs in annoyance.) Look, I’m furious over what Creek did, too. And sure, sometimes the mere thought of him sends me into a blind rage and makes me so mad, I want to grab him by the hair and… (She screams and sighs.) But still, he was a great yoga teacher.

Creek: True. (He appears in the bushes. He is wearing a torn coat and has a dirty face. Even his pants are torn and dirty.) And I still could be. (The Trolls yell and run away.)

Branch: (angry) Creek. Cooper, Guy, Troll Village Defense Plan 65.

Cooper and Guy Diamond: Got it. (Branch faces Creek.)

Creek: Greetings. (Branch yells and jumps into the sky to attack him, but he is sprayed with water.)

Branch: (grunts) What was that?!

Guy Diamond: Defense Plan 65! (He jumps to Branch.) Put out a grease fire!

Branch: (Taking the bucket away from Guy Diamond) No, that’s Plan 32. Plan 65 is capture Cree- (His foot gets stuck in a mouse trap. His heart beats in pain.)

Cooper: Stop rodent outbreak. Go, Plan 65!

Poppy: Enough! Tell us what you’re doing here, traitor.

Creek: “Traitor.” Yes, I deserve that. But the truth is, Poppy, I came back here today because I’m lonely.

All: Hmm?

Creek: I’d do anything to take back what I did when I handed you over to the Bergens and sacrifice myself for you instead. I’ve returned to tell you all that I am very sorry.

Branch: (scoffs) Please. You think we’re just gonna forgive you?

The Snack Pack: We forgive you! (The run over to Creek and hug him along with more Trolls.)

Branch: What?! We almost died because of him, and you’re gonna let him back just because he said “I’m sorry”?

Cooper: No, he said he was “very sorry.”

Guy Diamond: Let’s welcome you back the Troll way- with a makeover! (The Trolls cheer. Soon, they are giving Creek a makeover. He is given a green facial mask and his hair gets fixed. Satin and Chenille measure him and give him a housecoat. Creek chuckles as his teeth get brushed. Cooper gives him a cupcake and he puts it in his housecoat. Poppy and Branch watch from behind a rock.)

Branch: What a manipulative jerk. We got to get rid of him.

Poppy: Uh, yeah…

Branch: Wait, Poppy, don’t tell me you buy that whole… (He impersonates Creek.) “Oh, I wish I could sacrifice myself for all of you”?

Poppy: Of course not. But I’m queen, Branch. I have to set an example for everyone and try my best to live in… (sings) Harmony.

Creatures: (sing) Harmony.

Branch: (Back in his normal voice) Hey, just… (grunts) … stop it! (The creatures disappear.) I hate it when you make your points through song.

Poppy: Force of habit. What I’m saying is, everyone makes mistakes, and yes, his was a huge one, but if you don’t let go of anger and forgive, you’ll wind up… (sings) All alone.

Creatures: (sing) No-one calling.

Branch: Ga-ga-ga, ga, ga.

Poppy: Okay, if you need time, I get it. But I’ve got to give Creek a chance, no matter how hard it is. (She walks away.)

Branch: (growls) You’ll see. Creek is the same way he’s always been, and I’m gonna prove it. (Later, he places a basket of cupcakes on a log in the forest and hides in a bush. Creek appears with a bug carrying him.)

Creek: Hm. A dropped basket of delicious treats with no-one to claim it? Mother destiny provides again. (A pink light shines on him and butterflies land on his arms. Branch groans impatiently. Creek picks up a card on the basket.)

Pop-up #1: These are for you, Poppy!

Pop-up #2: No-one but you!

Pop-up #3: If anyone else takes them, they are a criminal and should be shunned!

All: Yay!

Branch: Not my most subtle work. (He takes a picture of Creek with a camera.) Ooh-hoo, that’s it. (He takes another picture.) Busted! (He takes two more pictures.) Victory selfie! (He goes to Poppy’s pod to tell her the news.) Poppy! Poppy! Look. I saw Creek take a gift basket that wasn’t his- (He sees Poppy and Creek sharing cupcakes. Creek chuckles and he and Poppy do a toast.) Oh. You’re here.

Poppy: Branch, look! Creek found a present that someone was gonna give me.

Branch: You don’t say. (Creek and Poppy eat one the cupcakes.)

Poppy: This is nice thing you did, Creek. Thank you.

Creek: Don’t thank me, Poppy. Thank the bloke who arranged this basket, whoever he is. (An angry Branch growls.) Not only for the treats, but also for our time together.

Branch: Ugh.

Creek: Oh, you’ve got a little… (He touches the icing on Poppy’s nose.) Boop!

Poppy: Oh. So do you. (She touches the icing on Creek’s nose.) Boop!

Creek: (chuckles) Boop!

Poppy: (chuckles) Boop! Boop, boop, boop! (Branch growls in anger. He accidentally takes a picture of himself with a shocked face. Later, Creek is meditating near a waterfall.)

Creek: Om. I’m flawless at surrendering my ego. Om. (Branch appears in the bushes wearing a brown backpack.)

Branch: Hey, guys! Over here! (Poppy and the Snack Pack appear in hiking gear.)

Poppy: Branch, this stop wasn’t on our hike.

Branch: Wasn’t it? Well, might as well enjoy the view. Hey, look, Creek! (He walks toward the edge and slips.) Whoa! Whoa! (He yells as he falls down the edge and into the river.) Help! Help! Creek! Save me!

Creek: Branch?! (He gets up from his meditation.)

Poppy: Creek! You’ve got to help him! (She and her friends climb down the edge with their hair.)

Creek: Oh, these rapids are rather rapid, aren’t they? (chuckles) Perhaps you could save yourself?

Branch: No! I can’t hold on any longer! Please, you said you’d sacrifice yourself for any one of us! (A snail floats down the river whistling. Then it screams as it falls down the waterfall.)

Creek: Yeah. That promise might’ve been a bit premature.

Poppy: Creek!

Branch: Ha! (He gets up on the rock he was holding on to.) I knew it! (He jumps from rock to rock to safety.) That’s right, Creek. I staged that fall, because I knew you couldn’t be trusted, and now they know it, too. (Poppy and the Snack Pack become shocked.)

Creek: (sad) Well, you’re right, Branch. I didn’t save you because I’m not a brave person. (He walks away.) I’m sorry. You all deserve better.

Branch: Ha! Look I know it’s not really like me, but this calls for a dance. (He starts dancing.) Uh-huh! Oh, yeah! Uh-huh! (chuckling) What? Why am I the only one dancing?

Poppy: (angry) Because you pretended to be in danger just to trick Creek.

Branch: No. To expose him.

Poppy: (grunts) Branch, we already knew Creek had weaknesses, and we were trying to accept him anyway. The only person you exposed here is yourself.

Branch: OK, well, I’m sorry.

Poppy: Don’t apologize to us. Apologize to Creek. He could’ve gotten hurt. When he forgives you, we’ll forgive you.

Branch: What?! Apologize to him? You can’t be serious! Guys. (Poppy and her friends turn their backs on him and cover themselves with their hair.) Guys, come on! (growls) Fine! (Later, he finds Creek using a rake.) Creek.

Creek: Shh. I’m raking.

Branch: Of course you are. Any idea when you’ll be done? (Creek ignores him.) Look, I know you’re probably mad.

Creek: Why would I be mad? I finally got back with my friends after months, and now they think I’m a coward because of YOU! (He throws his rake down, breaking it.) And I’m at peace with that. (The camera shows a picture of Branch’s face crossed in an X.)

Branch: (sighs) I’m sorry. Will you forgive me?

Creek: I’d love to forgive you.

Branch: Good. Now, let’s head back so you can tell everyone.

Creek: But unfortunately, I can’t forgive you because I can see that you’re still angry with me.

Branch: What do you mean? I’m not angry. (Creek whips him with his hair.) Ah! (He growls.)

Creek: See? Anger.

Branch: Because you slapped me.

Creek: Did I? (He whips Branch again.)

Branch: OW! (inhales deeply) OK. Is there a way I can prove I’m not angry with you.

Creek: Oh, yes. You just have to apologize to me in front of the whole village, singing in A-sharp, extolling my many, many, virtues. (He gives Branch a song sheet.) I took the liberty of writing down the lyrics.

Branch: What? I’d rather have the Trolls be angry at me forever than sing this. (He crumbles up the song and throws it away.)

Creek: Your choice.

Branch: Fine! Then I choose to be alone. (He walks away. Then he goes home. He groans as the elevator lowers him.) I don’t need the Trolls. Also, I’m glad to talking to myself again. I make some really good points. (The elevator reaches the bottom and he walks to Gary.) Looks like it’s just you and me again, Gary. (He looks at the pictures of himself and his friends. He sighs and looks away only to find a poster with himself and his friends.) I never should have started painting that. (He takes down the poster and goes to throw it away. He goes past a mop and bucket that turns into Cooper, a basket with a blue fruit that turns into Biggie and Mr. Dinkles, and chains that turn into Satin and Chenille. Finally, he sees a drawing turn into the face of Poppy.)

Poppy: If you don’t let go of anger and forgive, you’ll wind up with no-one. (Branch walks to his toilet that turns into Creek.)

Creek: Let go of your anger, Branch. Learn to forgive. (Branch sighs. Later, he is meeting with Poppy and her friends to apologize to Creek.)

Branch: Well… after a lot of thought, I’ve decided I owe Creek a big apology. Here goes. (He plays a harmonica and sings his apology song.)

(Branch)

Would you forgive me

For everything I’ve done?

I didn’t mean it

I should’ve seen that

I was hurting someone

You shine bright like the sun in the sky

On a beautiful day

You’re enlightened and humble

And handsome and so very bra-a-ave

Creek: That was lovely. But was that the entirety of your song, Branch? (Branch grunts and continues singing.)

(Branch)

I’m so sorry

Show me no mercy

Oh, enlightened one

Oh, won’t you forgive me?

Creek: Well, that wasn’t in A-sharp, mate, but I’ve decided to forgive Branch. (The Snack Pack cheers.)

Branch: You’re not gonna celebrate with your boy Creek?

Poppy: Eh, he can be a bit much… which actually makes what you did all the more beautiful, Branch. In fact, I want to hear your song again. Suki, hit me with that remix! (DJ Suki plays Branch’s song again and Poppy dances to it. Then the rest of her friends join in.)
