The following is a transcript for the episode "Keep It Up".
Script
(Branch is relaxing while fishing at a small pond. Just then, Synth appears laughing as a balloon floats toward the ground. Then he hits it and leaves. Branch sighs in relief and Dante appears while laughing and hits the balloon. Branch grunts as Synth comes back.)
Branch: OK, what is going on?!
Synth: I can’t explain it, Dubstep! (He hits the balloon again.) We just started bopping this balloon, trying to keep it from touching the ground! (He hits the balloon once more.) Whoa, whoa! Get it! Get it! (Dante stops the balloon from landing.)
Dante: And it is such a delight; we can’t stop! (The balloon floats to Synth and he hits it.)
Branch: Oh, come on. Hitting a balloon can’t possibly be that fun. (He jumps in the air and hits the balloon.) I’ve never felt so alive! (He is with Poppy, Smidge, Dante, and Synth.)
Poppy: Yaaaaaay!
Branch: Whooooooo! (As the friends continue to hit the balloon, Poppy sings Keep The Balloon Up.)
(Poppy)

We bop bop, don’t drop like (The balloon lands in Country Corral. The friends continue having fun.)
Poppy and Smidge: Huh? (They see Holly quilting something.)
Poppy: Everything OK, Holly? Why aren’t you bopping?
Smidge: Let me guess, you bopped once before and got your heart broken and you promised yourself you’d never bop again?
Holly: Nope! I’m just busy quiltin’ up a poster for my big Quiltin’ Bee. (She shows her poster.)
Poppy: Quilting Bee? I love quilts! Almost as much as I love bees!
Smidge: (gasps) Do we get to pet the bees?
Holly: (chuckles) No, no. A Quiltin’ Bee is a Darlin’ family tradition back in Lonesome Flats. Every year on the same day, my kin gather and quilt together, swappin’ stories and remeberin’ the good ol’ days. And this year, on that very same day, I wanna share the tradition with my new family, all y’all here in TrollsTopia.
Poppy: (With tears in her eyes.) Wow! (sniffs) Holly, that’s really beautiful.
Smidge: Yeah. So can we take one of the bees home after or?
Holly: No, there’s no… Ah, never mind. (She takes a needle from the cactus.) Anywoohoo, the Quiltin’ Bee is next week and everyone’s invited. Gosh, I hope all this balloon boppin’ is wrapped up by then. (The camera shows Branch, Synth, and Dante still having fun.)
Poppy: Oh, Holly! Don’t worry. There’s no way Trolls will wanna keep that balloon off the ground for an entire week.
Holly: Hm… Yeah, I’m sure you’re right. (A week later, Branch, Rhythm, Dante, and Synth are still having fun with the balloon.)
Poppy: Boy, did I get that one wrong.
Smidge: And they’re not stopping anytime soon. Look how good they’ve gotten.
Branch: R, watch your six. Synth, flank the knot-side. Dante, quarter-bop back-turn headed your way. Bop on?
Dante: Bop on! (Branch throws the balloon at him and a male Rock Troll catches it.)
Rock Troll #1: Yeah! All right!
Holly: (Sighing while looking at her watch) And my Quiltin’ Bee’s just a couple hours away. Oh, well. Guess I’ll quilt with my new family next year.
Poppy: No, no. Holly, I’ll just ask the Trolls to stop the game.
Holly: What? And spoil their fun? Poppy, no! They should do what they wanna do. Promise me you won’t ask ‘em to stop. Promise.
Poppy: Oh! OK.
Smidge: We promise.
Holly: Good. ‘Cause at the end of the day, I want what’s best for the other Trolls. And if no-one comes to my Quiltin’ Bee, well, so bee it. See what I did there? (She sniffs and walks away.)
Smidge: Oh, my Guh. That was the saddest pun I’ve ever heard!
Poppy: Yeah.
Both: We need to do something. (They look at Branch, Rhythm, and other Trolls playing with the balloon.)
Poppy: OK, Smidge, we can’t ask the Trolls to stop because we promised Holly we wouldn’t. So that leaves us with only one option: we’ve gotta get that balloon to drop. Observe. (She runs over to the Trolls.) Oh! (laughs) I got it! I got it! (She hits the balloon and it floats away from the group.)
All: Huh?
Poppy: Oh, no! I hit it where nobody else is! I’m so bad at this game! (Dante manages to catch the balloon.)
Dante: Got it! (The Trolls cheer for him.)
Poppy: (sarcastic.) Oh! Yay!
Smidge: Oh! (laughs) I got it! (She hits the balloon away from the group.) Oh, my Guh! Now I hit it where no-one else is! I, too, am bad at this game! (Rufus catches the balloon.)
Rufus: I got it! (The Trolls cheer and run after the balloon. Poppy and Smidge grunt with annoyance. Poppy tries to throw the balloon into the water, but Synth catches it.)
Synth: Got it! (Smidge also fails to catch the balloon. Rhythm and Blues catch the balloon by coming out of a wormhole.)
Rhythm and Blues: Got it! (Poppy throws the balloon and Cloud Guy hits it while standing on a tree.)
Cloud Guy: Got it! (Smidge hits the balloon and it floats to Cooper, who is hiding in a piñata.)
Cooper: Got it! (More Trolls hit the balloon.)
Techno Troll #1: Got it!
Rock Troll #2: Got it!
Pop Troll #1: Got it! (The balloon floats slowly to the ground.)
Poppy: Oh, no! We’re missing the balloon! (She and Smidge try to catch the balloon.)
Smidge: What folly! (The Trolls gasp in horror. Luckily, Branch opens the door to his bunker, making the balloon go up again.)
Branch: Got it! (The Trolls run after the balloon again.)
Poppy and Smidge: We need to do something else. (Branch, Synth, and Blues are bopping the balloon with a young Funk Troll and Rock Troll. Poppy and Smidge watch from a tree branch.)
Poppy: It’s foolproof, Smidge. Just wait till the exact moment the Trolls pass and release the balloons. And in the chaos, no-one will know which balloon is which, ending the game once and for all. (The Trolls move to the location where the balloons are going to be dropped.) Now! (Smidge opens the net. The balloons go down for a second but go back up.) Huh. I guess they were helium balloons.
Smidge: (Doing a facepalm) Oh, my Guh. (She and Poppy watch the Trolls play with the balloon.)
Poppy: (grunts) Holly’s Quilting Bee starts in 15 minutes! Time to implement my Trolliest plan yet. Hey, everybody Group hug! (The Trolls cheer and hug Poppy.)
All: Aw! (Branch sees the balloon floating to the ground.)
Branch: Wait! What are we doing?! The balloon is falling!
Rufus: Yeah, but the hug is so good!
Rhythm: You don’t think we know that?! What do we do?!
Synth: Ah! It’s tearing me apart, yo!
Branch: (gasps) All in favor of staying in the group hug, raise your hair! (All the Trolls raise their hair.) And all in favor of bopping the balloon? (All the Trolls raise their hair again.) You can’t vote for both things!
Synth: You voted for both things, too!
Branch: I know! Don’t make me choose! (The Trolls scream as the balloon lands on the ground.)
All: Aw!
Branch: The bop stopped.
Poppy and Smidge: Phew!
Rhythm: Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Blues: Yeah, but the game is definitely over now. (Poppy and Smidge smile at each other.)
Branch: Wait! The balloon! (The camera shows the balloon moving.) She moves! (The Trolls gasp.)
Poppy: What?!
Smidge: That can’t be!
All: Hm… (A spider lifts the balloon.)
Rhythm: Look! It didn’t touch the ground at all!
Synth: Hey, yeah! It landed on the back of that totally sick spider! Ha-ha! Mad respect, spider!
Branch: Then the game is still on! If the spider doesn’t drop it.
All: (gasp) Get the balloon! (They run after the spider. Poppy whimpers in fear.)
Smidge: Oh, my Guh! They’re gonna restart the game! Holly’s Quilting Bee is doomed!
Poppy: Not if I get that balloon first. (She jumps with her hair and lands in front of the Trolls. Then she grabs the balloon.) Gotcha! Huh? (The spider looks at her.) Uh-oh! (The spider speeds up, taking her with it.) AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!
All: Whoa!
Synth: Dang! It’s a fast spider! Look at it split-lickety, yo! Ha-ha! (The spider bumps into a mushroom.)
Poppy: Ow! (The spider bumps into rocks.) There’s nothing you can do… to make me let go! (The spider smiles at her.) OK, I regret saying that. (The spider sprouts wings.) Huh? (She screams as the spider flies into the air.)
Branch, Synth, Rhythm, and Blues: Whoa!
Synth: It flies, too?! Yo, I straight up love this spider! (He laughs. The spider flies in circles and Poppy struggles to pull the balloon away from it. Finally, she falls along with the balloon. She lands on a pile of hay as a soft landing. She grabs a needle from the cactus and goes to pop the balloon.)
Holly: Poppy Primrose Springwater!
Poppy: Huh? Primrose Springwater?
Holly: Sorry. The moment it felt like it needed a full name so I made somethin’ up.
Poppy: Oh. (She gets off her hair.)
Holly: Poppy, I can’t believe you’d pop that balloon! What did I tell you?!
Poppy: Holly, believe me, the Trolls would understand if-
Holly: What did I tell you?!
Poppy: I know what you told me, but-
Holly: Poppy!
Poppy: (sighs) You told me you wanted the Trolls to do what they want to do.
Holly: Mm-hm.
Poppy: It’s just… you’re so sad about the Quilting Bee.
Holly: Yeah, I know. But, Poppy, a person can want what’s best for someone else and be sad it didn’t go their way. Both things can be true. (She and Poppy smile. Branch runs over to them.)
Branch: Poppy, the balloon!
Dante: (As he and Smidge run up to Poppy and Holly) Did it touch the ground?!
Smidge: Yeah! Did it?! (Poppy and Holly look at the balloon falling slowly.)
Poppy: No. Game’s still on. Have fun. (She hits the balloon. Branch and Dante run after it while Smidge runs over to Poppy and Holly.) Sorry, Holly. But Smidge and I will quilt with you, even if the other Trolls choose not to- (Branch, Synth, Rhythm, and Blues’ Hug Watches chime.)
Branch: Oh, right! Never mind. That’s game, everyone! (He throws the balloon away.)
Synth: Yeah, man!
Rhythm: That was a great game!
Poppy, Holly, and Smidge: Huh?
Poppy: That’s game?
Smidge: You’re just gonna stop playing?
Rhythm: Of course! It’s time for Holly’s Quilting Bee!
Blues: We all set our alarms so we wouldn’t forget.
Branch: ‘Cause, you know, we can’t miss this.
Synth: Yeah. I mean, we’re kinda her new family, right?
Holly: (gasps) Well, what are we waitin’ for? Let’s quilt, y’all! (The Trolls cheer and start quilting.
Poppy: Well, I guess that’s it. The balloon game is finally over. (The balloon lands somewhere in the desert and some spider play with it. One of them throws it at the screen and the episode ends.)
